About This Role

Job Summary Our customer is seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in commercial interior fit-out projects to oversee end-to-end project execution. The role involves managing site operations, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management, team leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects, manage budgets and timelines, and proactively resolve on-site challenges while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end execution of assigned commercial interior fit-out projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Plan and manage site operations, including labor allocation and coordination of a team of 3-4 site supervisors to guarantee efficient project delivery.
• Engage with vendors to secure timely material deliveries and on-site execution, addressing concerns and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Monitor daily site activities to ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and timeline constraints while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Coordinate labor and subcontractor resources through approved agency channels to ensure adequate on-site workforce availability.
• Manage material requisition and procurement processes, verifying deliveries align with project schedules and construction programs.
• Mitigate and resolve unforeseen delays or challenges to maintain project timelines and client expectations.
• Organize site logistics and facilities, ensuring all equipment is operational and operated only by trained personnel.
• Enforce compliance with workmanship, material standards, building regulations, health and safety legislation, and quality control protocols.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation for internal management and client reporting, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
• Review project plans and specifications in collaboration with design teams, identifying cost-saving opportunities and potential construction challenges.
• Assist the estimator in developing project budgets and financial projections to support accurate cost management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
• 6+ years of relevant experience in commercial interior fit-out projects
• Proven track record of delivering office, retail, or commercial projects end-to-end
• UAE or GCC project experience, with preference for DIFC or authority-driven environments
• Strong understanding of fit-out execution across civil, MEP, joinery, and finishes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including IFC, shop drawings, and MEP layouts
• Experience with project scheduling and planning tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or Excel-based trackers
• Strong knowledge of material procurement, vendor coordination, and site logistics
• Familiarity with local regulations, authority approvals (DIFC, DM, Civil Defense), and compliance requirements
• Ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously while maintaining control over timelines, budgets, and quality
• Hands-on experience managing site supervisors, subcontractors, and labor teams
• Strong vendor and contractor management capabilities
• Proficiency in project documentation, reporting, and client communication
• Ability to handle client-facing discussions with confidence and clarity
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Exposure to ERP or project tracking tools is a plus
