Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Project Manager role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
The Senior Project Manager oversees the full project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and execution of construction projects.
Responsibilities include leading project teams, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, managing subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring that work meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
The role involves monitoring project progress, identifying risks, implementing corrective actions, and reporting on cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
The Senior Project Manager also supports strategic decisions, mentors junior staff, and drives process improvements to enhance overall project efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong project management skills, including Project Management experience with responsibility for scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
- Experience in expediting activities, including acting as an Expeditor and applying Expediting practices to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Background in inspection, with the ability to oversee Inspection processes and verify compliance with technical specifications and standards.
- Knowledge of Logistics Management, including coordination of material flow, site deliveries, and supplier interfaces.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., PMP or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Proven experience managing medium to large construction projects, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.
- Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under time pressure.
- Proficiency in project management and planning software (such as MS Project or Primavera), and solid understanding of contract administration and HSE principles.
