Overview
Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities from pre-mobilization through to completion and handover
Lead and manage the procurement process for Client- procured packages, including scope preparation, tender evaluation, and subcontractor appointment
Monitor and enforce contractor performance against programme, quality standards, and site logistics, coordinating site instructions and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as required
Act as the primary on-site representative of Hive, managing day-to-day communication with the contractor and consultants
Chair and lead regular site meetings and progress reviews, preparing and distributing meeting minutes and progress reports to all stakeholders
Proactively identify and manage construction risks and interface issues
Collaborate closely with the internal Design Lead to ensure buildability, adherence to design intent, and resolution of site-related design matters
Lead coordination with relevant authorities, managing all required approvals, inspections, and permits, including liaison with municipality, RERA, and utility providers
Review and comment on contractor submissions including shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and RFIs, coordinating approvals through the Engineer in a timely manner
Support contract administration including review of interim payment applications, variations, and extension of time claims, liaising with the Engineer and Employer s commercial team
Oversee the commissioning, testing, and handover process, including management of the snagging list and defect rectification through the Defects Liability Period
Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance on site in accordance with applicable UAE regulations and the Contractor s Health & Safety Plan
Maintain a comprehensive site diary and prepare regular progress reports for internal stakeholders and the Employer s senior management team
