Senior Project Engineering Manager

Role Overview

What You'll Do

• Lead engineering design and compliance with local regulations, contracted codes, and technical standards.
• Manage planning, progress measurement, and timely deliverable releases to the Owner and EPC partners.
• Serve as primary technical interface for substation OEMs, local suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Resolve technical queries and ensure quality control across subcontracts.
• Perform technical risk assessments and support EOT and claims data.
• Collaborate with planning teams on recovery options for project delays.
• Provide engineering support for installation, commissioning, and supplier technical clarifications.
• Champion a proactive EHS and stop-work culture.
• Document lessons learned and return of experience for project close-outs.

Required

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
• 8+ years of professional experience in engineering of power, grid, or substation systems.
• Demonstrated experience reviewing and validating engineering design packages (drawings, calculations, and specifications).
• Fluent in Arabic and English, written and spoken.
• Experience working on Saudi energy projects in a field or engineering capacity.
• Legal right to work in Saudi Arabia without company sponsorship or time restrictions.

Preferred

• Working knowledge across engineering disciplines involved in power conversion and storage, including balance-of-plant equipment.
• Experience interfacing directly with EPC partners.
• Strong communication and technical dispute-resolution skills.
