Role Overview
The (Senior) Project Engineer will help shape the next generation of culinary products by combining practical engineering judgment, hands-on product development, and curiosity about what is possible.
This role combines hands-on engineering, creative problem-solving, and technical leadership.
The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical or electromechanical engineering experience, a collaborative mindset, and motivation to explore new ideas, emerging technologies, and practical ways to improve product design.
The Project Engineer serves as the technical owner for assigned products and collaborates with Industrial Design, Design Engineering, Marketing, Product Validation, Product Certification, Global Engineering, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to bring successful products to market.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or a related engineering discipline.
- 5+ years developing heated or motorized culinary equipment, appliances, electromechanical products, or durable goods.
- Experience with mechanical or electromechanical systems, including heating, motors, controls, sensors, sheet metal, plastics, castings, or fabricated components.
- Experience leading products from concept through prototyping, validation, tooling, and launch.
- Experience designing for durability, sanitation, continuous-duty operation, and serviceability.
- Experience collaborating with global suppliers, contract manufacturers, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to solve complex problems, communicate technical decisions, and balance performance, quality, cost, and schedule.
- Advanced degree or training in product development, thermal or motor systems, materials, manufacturing, or electromechanical design.
- Familiarity with product safety and sanitation standards such as UL, NSF, and CSA.
