SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER / PROJECT MANAGER – CIVIL

Role overview

Required qualifications and experience

• B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• At least 10 years of relevant civil construction or project management experience.
• Experience independently managing projects from mobilization through handover and final close-out.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction, project controls, planning, costing, contracts, variations, claims, and extensions of time.
• Experience with government authorities, clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and Primavera P6 or MS Project.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project scope, programme, budget, manpower, resources, procurement, subcontractors, quality, HSE, and documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Lead meetings and monitor progress, risks, delays, costs, and recovery actions.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, method statements, ITPs, RFIs, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
• Manage costing, budgets, cash flow, billing, variations, claims, extensions of time, and final accounts.
• Lead testing, inspections, snagging, commissioning, handover, and project close-out.

Preferred qualifications and project experience

• UAE or GCC construction experience is preferred.
• PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
• UAE Society of Engineers membership or Municipality approval is advantageous.
• Preferred project exposure includes government and public-sector projects, infrastructure, utilities, substations, roads, tunnels, underground works, and technical structures.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 6,500 to AED 10,000 per month.

• Work location is in person in the UAE.
