Role Description
This is a part-time, hybrid Senior Program Manager role based in Abu Dhabi, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home arrangements.
The Senior Program Manager will oversee complex energy-related programs and projects, ensuring they are planned, executed, and delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Responsibilities
include defining program roadmaps, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and aligning activities with organizational strategy.
The role involves tracking KPIs, monitoring risks and dependencies, preparing status reports, and presenting updates to senior leadership and external partners.
The Senior Program Manager will also support continuous improvement by refining processes, implementing best practices, and mentoring project managers and other team members.
Qualifications
- Strong program and project management skills, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and budget oversight.
- Proven experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders at multiple levels, ideally in the energy or infrastructure sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, track KPIs, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Comfort with hybrid work arrangements, including effective remote collaboration and use of digital tools.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, business, project management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant project or program management certification (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) is an advantage.
- Experience in renewable energy, utilities, or large-scale industrial programs is beneficial, as is familiarity with Abu Dhabi or regional regulatory environments.
