Role Description

The Senior Program Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of public health and health administration programs for SESPAS.

This part-time, hybrid role is based in Abu Dhabi, with a combination of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility.

Day-to-day responsibilities include defining program scope and objectives, developing work plans, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and managing timelines and budgets.

The Senior Program Manager will monitor program performance using qualitative and quantitative indicators, prepare progress reports, and recommend course corrections as needed.

The role also involves engaging with stakeholders and partners, organizing meetings and workshops, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations, and supporting the development of grant proposals and funding opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in program or project management, including planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation in public health or health administration.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, partnership building, and coordination with internal and external collaborators.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and the use of tools for tracking program indicators and outcomes.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; additional language skills (e.g., Spanish or Arabic) are an asset.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site responsibilities in Abu Dhabi with remote work.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Advanced degree in public health, health administration, social sciences, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in international, non-profit, or academic public health organizations is highly desirable.
