Senior Product Manager - Social Experience

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design connected social journeys for discovery, following, sharing ideas or trades, responses, and repeat use.
• Specify navigation, hierarchy, copy, defaults, gestures, feedback, and edge cases such as empty feeds, failed posts, and slow loading.
• Prototype alternatives, test uncertain interactions, and deliver clear flows, states, and acceptance criteria to engineering.
• Apply behavioral understanding to visibility, prompts, reputation, feedback, and contribution effort.
• Conduct usability sessions and combine observations with funnel data to find user friction and abandonment.
• Design useful first-use and repeat-use experiences, including for people without connections and users trading actively.
• Define measurable outcomes and track task completion, abandonment, follows, contributions, responses, and retention.
• Partner with data science to evaluate experiments and effects on contributors and audiences.
• Scope launches, resolve engineering trade-offs, review implementation, and use post-launch evidence to prioritize improvements.

What you bring

• Has designed and shipped consumer social experiences, with portfolio evidence of work on feeds, profiles, sharing, messaging, discovery, or communities.
• Shows strong interaction design craft and can explain how flows support user understanding and reduce unnecessary steps.
• Can create realistic interactive prototypes using Figma, code, AI tools, or a combination, including transitions and error states.
• Uses user research evidence to challenge assumptions and change designs.
• Can prioritize problems, define success, interpret funnel and cohort data, and evaluate experiments.
• Understands how credibility, incentives, reputation, and visibility of financial activity affect trust and sharing in social finance.
