About RocketRez

RocketRez provides a revenue maximization platform for boat tours, theme parks, zoos, and other attractions and experience operators.

Its platform includes ticketing, capacity, memberships, point of sale, web stores, and business data.

The role

Own reporting and analytics end to end, including reports, dashboards, insights, data models, metric definitions, customers, and roadmap.

Help operators use reporting to make revenue-driving decisions; success is measured by usage and revenue from decisions enabled by reporting.

What the team is building

  • Build trusted core reporting comparable to leading hospitality reporting.
  • Develop revenue tools for targets, campaigns, performance tracking against past seasons, and options when operators fall behind.
  • Progress toward automated revenue management that tracks and plans, recommends actions based on operator history and comparable operators, and enables one-click action.

What you'll do

  • Learn the decisions and questions of operators across roles, including general managers, finance leads, marketers, and front-gate supervisors.
  • Design reports that make their meaning and next steps clear.
  • Use SQL and real data to prototype reports and metrics with operators before engineering builds them.
  • Own consistent definitions for revenue, attendance, capacity utilization, and conversion across reports and domains.
  • Apply statistical judgment to seasonality, small samples, cohorts, fair comparisons, and forecasting.
  • Choose suitable visuals and uphold clarity, accuracy, honest scales, and data quality.
  • Work with other domains to capture reporting data needs before new products ship.

Strategy and roadmap

  • Own roadmap sizing, sequencing, and prioritization.
  • Shape AI and automation recommendations, trustworthiness, human decision points, and guardrails.
  • Define trusted cross-operator benchmarks, peer groups, minimum sample sizes, and anonymization.
  • Make build, buy, and partner decisions on analytics tooling and evaluate market gaps.

What we look for

  • Adaptability is the most important trait; candidates should have independently reinvented how they work and be ready to do so again.
  • The employer values rapid learning in ambiguity, initiative, customer focus, commercial reasoning, fact-checking discipline, and honesty about outcomes.
  • Relevant experience includes repeated, individually owned wins on customer-facing analytics or reporting products in B2B SaaS.
  • Hands-on experience with modern BI and data tools is sought.
  • Ticketing, attractions, hospitality, travel, payments, or retail experience is a plus, not a requirement.

May not be a fit if

The role may not suit someone who needs an analyst before testing an idea, measures success by dashboards shipped, prefers not to spend time with users, or expects clean, well-modeled data.
