Role overview

Portfolio and regional strategy

• Owns product, technology and brand portfolios spanning SLI, EFB, AGM, 12V and 48V lithium-ion technologies and multiple brands.
• Builds product and brand-by-geography roadmaps and playbooks for GCC, Türkiye and Africa.
• Defines technology mix plans by regional cluster and tracks AGM and EFB penetration.
• Adapts ranges to local group sizes, CCA, RC and ampere-hour specifications, hot-climate performance and SKU needs.
• Identifies portfolio gaps, growth opportunities and product initiatives across META.

Commercial and market delivery

• Supports go-to-market and OEM/OES strategies, including technical approvals, fleet and tender needs.
• Supports entry into new geographies through product range, brand fit, regulatory and homologation requirements.
• Works with Pricing on product price architecture, premium positioning and margin monitoring.
• Partners with Marketing and Technical Sales on launches, training and technology education for distributors, workshops and fleets.
• Manages distributor and Sales Manager product requests through sourcing and delivery.
• Joins monthly forecast and supply coordination, supporting demand planning, AGM/EFB allocation and market inventory.
• Maintains country market intelligence and owns product KPIs, presenting performance in quarterly business reviews.
• Supports Project MIDDLE integration on the product range.

Technology and business cases

• Develops business cases for AGM and heavy-duty capacity, 12V and 48V lithium-ion, sodium-ion partnerships, supercapacitors, connected services and private label.
• Drives adoption of advanced battery technologies, particularly AGM and EFB, and delivery of regional volume and margin targets.

Experience and education

• Requires a university degree in engineering, business, marketing or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
• Requires at least 8 years of experience in product management, marketing or commercial roles, including at least 3 years leading a regional portfolio.
• Requires proven success launching technology products and managing a multi-brand portfolio across several countries.
• Automotive aftermarket, battery, tire or industrial-component experience is sought; AGM, EFB and start-stop knowledge is an advantage.

Commercial and market qualifications

• Requires strong commercial and financial skills in pricing, margin analysis and business cases.
• Requires knowledge of META markets, distributor models and OEM and OES channels.
• Requires ability to influence senior stakeholders, distributors and global teams without direct authority.

Languages and mobility

• Requires fluent business-proficiency English and French; Arabic or Turkish is advantageous.
• Must be based in Riyadh and able to travel 30% to 40% of the time.
