Seeking a Senior Product Designer for a product organization supporting SaaS applications in the sales and marketing space.
The role defines and evolves user experiences for products that help small and medium-sized businesses discover sales leads, track prospecting, and create marketing campaigns.
The designer works closely with product and technology teams in a small product design team.
Product design responsibilities
- Use a user-centered design process to create simple experiences for complex systems and collaborate with engineers on detailed, functional results.
- Estimate project and task delivery, create low- and high-fidelity prototypes, and design visual interfaces and interactions for web applications.
- Assess requirements, alternatives, risks, and benefits and manage application test activities.
- Ensure user experience decisions support company goals and develop and maintain design systems.
- Communicate ideas through prototypes and flow charts and engage users to understand needs and guide decisions.
- Collaborate with developers before handoff and with designers to establish company-wide design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of product design experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating UX and visual skills in digital products.
- Experience with human-centered design, information design, workshop and meeting facilitation, and UX documentation.
- Experience partnering with product managers on feature strategy and rationale and working in an Agile/Scrum process.
- Ability to think at a high level about product strategy and communicate and present effectively.
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Zeplin, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of design systems and basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with prototyping and usability testing is a plus.
