Job Responsibilities

• Perform work requests assigned by the Vylor Buy Team using sourcing, procurement, and supply chain knowledge via SAP applications.
• Drive fundamental improvements in Buy commodity areas.
• Support the operations team on strategic and transactional activities, quality, or governance for a specific commodity or process.
• Provide spot purchase buying support for sites by converting requisitions to purchase orders.
• Support buyers on pricing discrepancies, contract management, vendor setup, and supplier performance management.
• Interact significantly with the Vylor Buy team, site personnel, and global suppliers/vendors.

Skills for Success

• Create, amend, renew, and manage contracts and agreements for commodities including raw materials, packaging, IT, market communications, material repair and operations, R&D, engineering equipment, energy and industrial gas, environment, and contract and professional services.
• Help buyers with spot purchases, including handling requisitions, sourcing suppliers, receiving quotations, negotiating price and payment terms, creating purchase orders, and expediting.
• Manage contracts and agreements day to day in SAP, including updating prices, buyer of records, contract value, and material setup.
• Handle invoice disputes and resolve them to ensure timely supplier payment and avoid excess payments.

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need

• Graduates or postgraduates with at least 4 to 7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and supply chain in a BPO/ITES industry supporting US/UK clients.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent telephone and email etiquette skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good analytics skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Experience in SAP S4 Hana and Ariba.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Willingness to work in US shift timings.
• Experience in the P2P process and in RFP and RFQs.
