Role overview
Hiring a Senior Procurement Engineer with experience at main contractors or real estate developers.
The role covers procurement and contract finalization for enabling, elevator, MEP, aluminum and glazing, swimming pool, and joinery contractors as provisional sum items.
Responsibilities
- Lead supplier and subcontractor negotiations on pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Conduct strategic sourcing and spend analysis to identify savings and improve procurement efficiency.
- Plan delivery methods, schedules, and budgets for cost-effective procurement.
- Finalize provisional sum item contracts and coordinate timely procurement, delivery, and execution.
- Share supplier qualification and performance information with the project team.
- Produce accurate weekly and monthly procurement performance reports.
- Own the procurement cycle from material request or BOQ through material delivery or service completion on site.
- Coordinate with design and project teams to align procurement with project schedules.
Qualifications and requirements
- Minimum 7–8 years of construction-industry experience.
- Experience with main contractors or real estate developers.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
- Strong industry-relevant technical knowledge, negotiation and communication skills, data analysis, and cost management.
- Experience with procurement software and ERP systems; ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize.
- Strategic thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, organization, and supplier relationship skills.
- Proficiency in contract management and supplier performance evaluation.
