Role overview

Project scope

• The project aims to take over an existing asset and increase production through a fast-track, schedule-oriented design.
• Phase 1 covers restoring and upgrading CPF1, building a roughly 30 km export pipeline, and restoring plant integrity and operability.
• The phase includes flaring elimination, released-water work, new flowlines and pads, an electrification network for about 30 wells, plant debottlenecking, and safety and security upgrades.
• The engineering, procurement, and construction-assistance scope includes FEED, detailed design, procurement support, and construction and commissioning assistance.

Process engineering duties

• Perform and coordinate process engineering across conceptual studies, FEED, detailed design, EPC, commissioning, and start-up.
• Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, design basis documents, heat and material balances, datasheets, utility summaries, and process narratives.
• Prepare relief and flare calculations, process simulations, design studies, and specifications for process equipment and treatment systems.
• Support HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, and LOPA studies; review vendor documents and engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate with mechanical, piping, instrumentation, electrical, and safety disciplines; take part in reviews, workshops, and client meetings.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, international standards, and client specifications; provide technical support through project delivery.

Candidate profile

• Extensive offshore oil and gas experience.
• A strong track record delivering major projects in the Middle East/GCC region.
• Experience in a PMC environment is preferred.

Work arrangement

• The role is stated to be full-time and on-site in Dubai, UAE.
