Senior Privacy & Data Protection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Privacy & Data Protection Specialist to join our team in Riyadh . This role is dedicated to managing and optimizing critical data security architectures to ensure the highest standards of privacy and regulatory compliance.

Core Role Details

• Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia ( Saudi Nationals Mandatory )
• Experience Required: 4–6 years total (3–4 years relevant experience)

Key Responsibilities by Solution Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention (DLP)

• Administration: Configure and optimize DLP policies across endpoint, network, and cloud channels.
• Content Strategy: Manage fingerprinting, content inspection rules, and incident workflows to safeguard PII, PCI, PHI, GDPR, and intellectual property.
• Integration: Oversee connectivity with CASB, email gateways, and proxy solutions.
• Business Alignment: Establish escalation and exception processes with business units to ensure secure data handling.

IBM Guardium Data Protection

• Monitoring: Deploy and manage IBM Guardium for Database Activity Monitoring (DAM), real-time alerting, and compliance auditing.
• Security Controls: Implement data masking for production/non-production environments and enforce strict access controls and segregation of duties.

Boldon James Data Classification

• Taxonomy: Implement and manage Boldon James Classifier to maintain consistent labeling across files, documents, and emails.
• Control Integration: Sync classification labels with DLP, IRM, and encryption solutions to ensure contextual security enforcement.

GRC & Operations

• Governance: Develop operational runbooks, standards, and procedures for data security tools.
• Audit Support: Provide technical evidence for regulatory assessments and internal audits.
• Optimization: Partner with the Data Management Office to tune policies, conduct gap analyses, and drive continuous security improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in data protection, privacy, or security-focused roles.
• Technical Expertise: Must have hands-on experience with Forcepoint DLP , IBM Guardium , and Boldon James Classifier .
• Knowledge Base: Strong grasp of privacy frameworks, encryption, Information Rights Management (IRM), and CASB.
• Technical Execution: Ability to manage end-to-end administration, including version upgrades and integration with SIEM and ticketing systems.
• Soft Skills: Proven ability to translate complex compliance needs into technical policies; excellent analytical and communication skills.
