Role Description
This is a full-time role based in Riyadh and Makkah.
As a Senior Principal Google Cloud Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain GCP cloud infrastructure and solutions to meet organisational needs.
Responsibilities include managing cloud-based services, optimising cloud performance, ensuring system security, provisioning resources, and supporting cloud-native application deployment and migrations from others private/public clouds and DC's.
The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, resilient solutions aligned with company objectives.
Qualifications
- Expert-level skills in building, designing, and deploying GCP/AWS/OCI/based workloads
- High proficiency in GCP Infrastructure and GKE Computing, including provisioning and managing scalable GCP cloud environments through automation Infrastructure as code and Ansible. THIS IS A MUST HAVE!
- Expert-level hands-on experience of Datacentre to GCP migration or Other public cloud to GCP migration using frameworks like 6R's
- Physical data centre experience with DHCP, TFTP, AUTOINSTALL, KICKSTART, PXE, NETWORKING, SUBNETS, ROUTING etc.
- 5+ years of client-facing experience to guide/help/onboard clients on use of GCP services.
- Expert-level knowledge in Linux/Windows system administration and management
- Hands-on experience of managing Databases (PostgreSQL/Mysql/Mongo/MSSQL) and their integration within cloud platforms
- Expert-level hands-on experience working with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Landing Zone, VPC's, HA VPN, Big Query, GCE, App Engine, CloudSQL, Cloud LB's, IAM, Monitoring and Logging, Native firewalls + Palo Alto, Fortinet.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, preferably from a Software Engineering background.
- Professional certifications in cloud computing or Google Cloud technologies are an advantage; however, hands-on experience is a MUST.
- Someone who prefers to Automate and manage infra with code rather than manually doing things!
- Efficient communicator with depth of perception and strategic thinking.
- Arabic language is a huge PLUS.
