Senior Pre Sales Cybersecurity Engineer

Role overview

Core responsibilities

• Qualify opportunities, discover customer requirements, and conduct technical meetings, workshops, and presentations.
• Design end-to-end solutions across SIEM/SOC, XDR/EDR, SOAR, network security, IAM/PAM, data protection, cloud security, and related domains.
• Prepare HLDs, architectures, proposals, BoMs, sizing, and scopes of work; lead technical RFP, RFQ, and tender responses.
• Lead PoC planning, deployment support, configuration, testing, evaluation, and reporting.
• Validate architectures, licensing, pricing, compliance, and competitive positioning with vendors and distributors.
• Support commercial solution positioning and project handover to implementation and delivery teams.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and stay current on cybersecurity technologies, threats, trends, and vendor roadmaps.

Experience and qualifications

• The role overview asks for at least 10 years of relevant cybersecurity experience; the qualifications section specifies a minimum of 6 years in Saudi Arabia.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, Networking, or a related discipline.
• Experience in cybersecurity pre-sales, solution engineering, solution architecture, or security consulting is strongly preferred.
• Requires experience in solution design, architecture, sizing, licensing, BoMs, tenders, enterprise proposals, presentations, and vendor coordination.

Technical and market knowledge

• Strong understanding of multiple cybersecurity domains, enterprise security architectures, IT infrastructure, networking, and cloud environments.
• Saudi market and compliance exposure includes NCA ECC, NCA CCC, SAMA Cybersecurity Framework, Saudi PDPL, ISO/IEC 27001, and sector-specific requirements.
• Experience serving Saudi government, semi-government, financial, telecom, or large enterprise customers is highly preferred.
• Experience with technologies from named cybersecurity vendors or equivalent enterprise solutions is highly desirable.
• Arabic fluency is required; strong English is stated.
