We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior Cybersecurity Pre-Sales to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have an exceptional understanding of cybersecurity solutions, extensive market and vendor knowledge, and a demonstrated ability to craft and deliver compelling pitches to potential clients.
The Senior Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping our pre-sales strategy, driving business growth, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective pre-sales activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Sales Leadership: Lead all pre-sales activities partnering with account managers to achieve required targets and providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Solution Development: Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to architect and customize innovative and tailored cybersecurity solutions that meet the specific needs of potential clients.
- Market and Vendor Knowledge: Stay up to date with cybersecurity market trends, emerging threats, competitive intelligence, and a comprehensive understanding of various cybersecurity vendors and their product portfolios.
- Pitching and Presentation: Create and deliver compelling technical presentations to clients, effectively communicating the technical aspects and value of our cybersecurity solutions.
- Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team, providing technical expertise and addressing client inquiries during the sales process to position our solutions effectively. Proposal technical architecture, review and preparation.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing post-sale technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction through in-depth technical knowledge.
- Budget Management: Manage pre-sales budgets, including resource allocation and ROI analysis for technical solutions.
- Team Development: Identify training and development opportunities for the pre-sales team to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
- Technical Reporting: Provide regular technical reports and updates on pre-sales activities, including performance metrics and market insights, to senior management.

- Deep Technical Expertise: The ideal candidate should possess a profound understanding of the end to end cybersecurity portfolio of products. They should be able to explain the technical intricacies of these solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Security Architecture Knowledge: Strong knowledge of security architecture and the ability to design comprehensive security solutions that address client-specific needs. This includes expertise in fundamental areas such network security, endpoint security, cloud security, and data protection among others.
- Certifications: A strong technical background is often complemented by industry-recognized certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or vendor-specific certifications from leading cybersecurity solution providers.
- Threat Intelligence: In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities, with the ability to stay ahead of emerging threats and recommend appropriate technical countermeasures. Able to conduct vulnerability assessments, and other security pre-sales tactics at clients.
Market And Client Knowledge
- Market Trends: A strong understanding of current and emerging cybersecurity market trends in UAE and (GCC/Globally is a plus) including knowledge of new trends and technologies/vendors, industry-specific challenges, and compliance requirements. This knowledge enables the candidate to tailor technical solutions to address evolving client needs.
- Vendors Landscape: A comprehensive understanding of the vendors landscape in UAE and other markets, including knowledge of major cybersecurity solution providers, their product portfolios, and their relative strengths and weaknesses. This knowledge helps in recommending the most suitable technical solutions for clients.
- Industry-Specific Expertise: Knowledge of specific industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, manufacturing) and the unique technical and regulatory challenges they face. The ability to align technical solutions with industry-specific needs is essential.
- Client-Centric Approach: A strong client-centric focus, with knowledge of UAE clients landscape the ability to listen to client technical requirements, identify technical pain points, and recommend technical solutions that meet their technical and security objectives.
- Technical Sales Experience: A track record of technical pre-sales success, including the ability to collaborate with the sales team to win technical deals, effectively communicate the value and develop the right technical solutions.
- Regulatory Compliance: A strong understanding of industry-specific regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST) and the technical solutions necessary to ensure technical compliance. This knowledge is critical for technical solutions tailored to clients in regulated industries.
- Client/Vendor Relationship Management: Experience in building and maintaining strong client/vendors relationships, serving as a technical advisor, and ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction through a deep technical understanding of client needs.
- Technical Innovation: The ability to introduce innovative technical solutions, tools, or methodologies that enhance technical capabilities and meet clients' evolving technical requirements.
- The Senior Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Specialist should have the technical expertise to understand and communicate complex cybersecurity solutions effectively.
- They should also be well-versed in market trends and client-specific needs, ensuring that the technical solutions they propose align with the technical, regulatory, and strategic goals of clients.
- With this combination of technical and market/client knowledge, they can drive technical excellence and contribute to the growth of the cybersecurity pre-sales team.
