Role Description

  • The Senior PMO VRO Analyst is a full time, on site role based in Abu Dhabi.
  • Key role in ensuring project governance, standardization, and value realization across Digital and business projects.
  • Support project planning, tracking, and reporting while ensuring alignment with PMO standards.
  • Assist in identifying, measuring, and reporting value realization from projects and operational improvements.

PMO Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to PMO standards, methodologies, and frameworks in all projects.
  • Support project managers in initiating, planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Track and monitor project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and reports.
  • Support governance meetings, including steering committees and project review boards.
  • Assist in development and continuous improvement of project management policies, processes, and tools.
  • Ensure project compliance with financial, resource, and timeline constraints.
  • Coach and mentor project managers.
  • Ensure projects have tangible success criteria prior to go live.
  • Quality assure existing projects to meet standards.
  • Measure and monitor performance via KPIs and track value realization.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends and support action plans.

VRO Responsibilities

  • Support identification, tracking, and reporting of benefits realization for Digital and business projects.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to measure and validate efficiency gains, cost savings, and other benefits.
  • Ensure alignment of value realization metrics with financial records and corporate strategy.
  • Provide insights through value tracking dashboards and reports.
  • Assist in developing models for calculating savings (e.g., FTE savings, revenue growth, cost avoidance).
  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure realized benefits are reflected in financial statements.
  • Support change management efforts to drive adoption and maximize value.
  • Develop analysis on Return on Investment for new Digital solutions.
  • Work with project teams to articulate product value.
  • Provide input to recalculation of value and ensure continuous updates to tracking mechanisms.
  • Develop all VRO reports and dashboards for feasibility and analysis.
  • Link operational and business performance metrics to productivity and financial outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Certifications (Mandatory): PMP.
  • Certifications (Preferred): PgMP, ITIL.
  • Experience: 10+ years in project management, PMO operations, or value realization analysis.
  • Strong experience in implementing and governing projects within PMO standards.
  • Hands on experience with benefits realization frameworks and financial impact analysis.
  • Experience working with Digital projects, process improvement, or business transformation initiatives.
  • Tools: Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Power BI.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, financial tracking tools, and reporting platforms.

Key Competencies & Skills

  • Strong knowledge of PMO governance, methodologies (Waterfall, Agile), and best practices.
  • Solid understanding of value realization principles, including cost benefit analysis and ROI calculation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience in building business cases and bringing them to life.
  • Experience in developing cost and benefit analysis.
  • Ability to interpret large amounts of data and make business recommendations.
  • Business/Financial modelling, financial background.
  • Good planning and execution skills.
  • Ability to multi task and operate independently.
