Senior Planning Engineer - Dubai Location- Leading Construction Company

• *Job Summary*
• We are hiring a *Senior Planning Engineer* with extensive GCC experience to lead project controls for large-scale construction projects in Dubai.
• You will be responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting across multiple high-rise, infrastructure, or commercial projects from tender to handover.
• *Key Responsibilities*
• *Project Planning*: Develop master programs, baseline schedules, and detailed work programs using Primavera P6 & MS Project for projects worth AED 100M+
• *Tender Planning*: Prepare tender programs, method statements, resource histograms, and cash flow forecasts during bidding stage
• *Progress Monitoring*: Track project progress using Earned Value Management, S-curves, and KPI dashboards. Identify delays and prepare recovery programs
• *Delay Analysis*: Conduct forensic delay analysis, prepare EOT claims with time impact analysis, and support contractual correspondence
• *Resource & Cost Planning*: Plan manpower, plant, and material resources. Coordinate with QS and procurement for cost-loaded schedules
• *Reporting*: Submit weekly/monthly progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and critical path analysis to clients, consultants, and senior management
• *Coordination*: Liaise with project managers, site engineers, design teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to resolve planning issues
• *Risk Management*: Identify project risks, prepare mitigation plans, and conduct what-if analysis for key project milestones
• *Team Leadership*: Mentor junior planning engineers and monitor planning deliverables across multiple projects
• *Key Requirements*
• *Education*: B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering. PMP/PRINCE2 certification preferred
• *Experience*: 15-20 years in construction planning. *Minimum 10 years in UAE/GCC with main contractors*
• *Project Exposure*: Must have handled high-rise towers, infrastructure, airports, or mixed-use developments
• *Software Skills*: Expert in Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Excel, Power BI. Knowledge of Asta Powerproject is a plus
• *Technical*: Strong in CPM scheduling, EOT claims, delay analysis, resource leveling, and cost loading
• *Standards*: Thorough knowledge of FIDIC contracts, Dubai Municipality requirements, and RTA/DEWA standards
• *Skills*: Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills. Strong leadership and stakeholder management
• *Other*: UAE driving license preferred. Should be available to join immediately
