Senior Planning Engineer ( Control Engineer)

A Senior Planning and Control Engineer is responsible for creating, monitoring, and managing project

schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.

 Project Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, baselines, and

execution plans.

 Progress Monitoring: Track project progress against the schedule, perform variance analysis,

and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.

 Risk Management: Identify potential risks and opportunities, perform schedule risk analysis,

and develop mitigation strategies.

 Resource Allocation: Align resources with project schedules and maintain integrated resource

planning systems.

 Cost Control: Assist with cost control activities, identify cost trends, and support the processing

of contractor claims and change orders.

 Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, and clients to

resolve issues, provide updates, and ensure alignment on project goals.

 Reporting: Create and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress reports, including

graphs and critical path analyses.

 Contractor Management: Review and validate contractor planning packages, monitor

performance, and ensure contractual compliance.

 Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

 Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling in the

Construction Industry.
