Role overview
The Senior Planner works in a collaborative supporting team to help meet client objectives and support the Project Management division.
Responsibilities
- Support project planning functions and highlight programme issues.
- Advise project team members and stakeholders, and produce programme assurance reports for client commissions.
- Report progress and variance against baselines; deliver periodic programme updates and contribute to project reports.
- Coordinate client, partner, consultant, and contractor programmes with the project programme and report non-compliance.
- Support bid-team planning activities to help submit bid documentation on time.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 15 years of postgraduate experience is required.
- Regional experience with professional consultancy is necessary.
- Industry experience in Energy and Mining is required.
- A BSc degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Planning and communication skills
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency with multiple discipline-specific software applications, such as Primavera P6 and/or other planning and resourcing software.
- Professional working knowledge of project management and planning software and tools is required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
