Overview
- Prepares Contract Baseline Schedule and/or Revised Schedules in co-ordination with the Project Team for Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning phases of the EPC Project.
- Assists the Lead Planner at project start in the preparation of all reports and/or registers to assure the implementation of the following procedures:
- Control of Planning & Scheduling
- Progress Measurement
- Reporting
- Reviews the project schedule updates done by the planner and liaise & coordinate with the different project teams in order to maintain proper progress recording and/or monitoring of the project schedule.
- In coordination/consultation with the Project Controls Manager, highlights to the Project’s Management any deviation and/or delays from the approved plan.
- Participates in coordination with the project controls manager in the preparation of claims & extension of time using the appropriate delay analysis method.
- Liaises and assists the project controls manager in preparing weekly & monthly reports, budget preparation and maintains proper project planning records.
- Participates in periodic project meetings to elaborate the project’s schedule and the progress status. In addition, to record any suggested changes and/or deviations from the plan and to advice of its effect on the overall schedule.
- Performs any other related duties as assigned.
