Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Pet Groomer to provide grooming services for dogs and cats while maintaining animal welfare, hygiene, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide full grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, clipping, hand scissoring, de-shedding, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and sanitary trims.
- Groom dogs and cats according to breed standards or client preferences; safely handle varied breeds, sizes, temperaments, and coat types.
- Assess coat and skin condition and report health concerns; maintain a calm, low-stress environment.
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment and keep the salon hygienic and organized.
- Communicate with clients about grooming styles and pet care; record grooming notes and preferences.
- Assist with appointment check-in and check-out and coordinate with daycare, boarding, and operations teams.
- Follow company health, safety, and animal welfare procedures.
Ideal Candidate
- At least 1 year of pet industry experience is required; 5 years of professional grooming experience is preferred.
- Experience grooming varied dog breeds and coat types; cat grooming experience is an advantage.
- Confident use of professional grooming tools and good knowledge of breed-specific grooming styles.
- Able to handle nervous or anxious pets safely and gently; attentive to detail and grooming quality.
- Positive, professional, and able to work well with a team; good English communication skills.
Salary and Benefits
- Basic salary is AED 3,500–4,500 per month; commission may apply.

- Work is in person in Ras Al Khor.
