Senior PAUT Inspector

Role overview

Inspection and analysis

• Conduct volumetric NDE inspections using established and advanced PAUT techniques, including TFM/FMC.
• Analyze acquired data to identify defects and assess component integrity against acceptance criteria.
• Prepare detailed reports of inspection findings and results.

Team, techniques, and equipment

• Guide, train, and oversee junior inspectors.
• Collaborate with UT Level 3s and NDE engineers to develop or optimize techniques for complex parts.
• Work with vendors to troubleshoot and maintain PAUT equipment.

Compliance and advanced applications

• Follow relevant codes, standards, and safety procedures during inspections.
• May support tube, tank floor, and guided wave inspection applications.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• More than 15 years of oil and gas field project experience, including relevant offshore and onshore construction or commissioning activities as applicable.
• NDT certification to ASNT Level II under SNT-TC-1A and ISO 9712 for Ultrasonic Testing and PAUT.
• CSWIP or AWS welding certification for welding.
• Very good spoken and written English, including technical report writing.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with ASME, AWS, API, DNV, ISO, and BS codes.
