Senior Partner Manager
Role Overview
ShipBob is a leading global supply chain and fulfillment technology platform designed for SMB and Mid-Market ecommerce merchants to provide them access to best-in-class capabilities and to deliver a delightful shopper experience. Merchants can outsource their entire fulfillment operations, utilize ShipBob’s proprietary warehouse management system for in-house fulfillment, or take advantage of a hybrid solution across ShipBob’s dozens of fulfillment center network in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, and Australia. ShipBob is backed by leading investors like Menlo Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures, Hyde Park Venture Partners, and SoftBank Vision Fund 2, and is one of the fastest-growing tech companies headquartered in Chicago.
At ShipBob, every full-time employee gets access to our best-in-class AI and productivity tools from Day 1 at no cost. This isn't a pilot or a perk for select teams. It's standard for everyone. We believe innovation isn't owned by one department. Whether you're in Talent, Operations, Finance, Engineering, or Customer Success, we expect you to ask: how can this be done better, faster, or smarter? These tools are our investment in your ability to find those answers.
Use of AI-Assisted Tools During Recruitment
We may use AI-assisted tools during the recruitment process to support administrative functions such as transcribing interviews, generating summaries or notes, organizing interview feedback, facilitating candidate communications, and helping recruiters identify candidates whose qualifications may align with job requirements. These tools are designed to assist our recruiting team and are not used to make final hiring decisions. Hiring decisions are made by trained human reviewers who consider the candidate's application, interview performance, qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors. AI-assisted tools do not independently determine whether a candidate advances in the hiring process or receives an offer of employment. Where required by applicable law, candidates will be provided with notice regarding our use of AI-assisted technologies and, where available, information about any applicable rights relating to such processing, including the ability to request additional information or opt out of certain AI-assisted processing activities. Candidates who exercise available opt-out rights may be reviewed through alternative processes consistent with applicable law.

Qualifications
- Building the world’s leading full-stack fulfillment platform is challenging work. The problems we solve are complex, the pace is fast, and the bar is high. That means ShipBob’s environment isn’t the right fit for everyone, and that’s okay. If you are ready to take ownership, push boundaries, and grow alongside a team that genuinely supports each other, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
- Develop and Expand Agency Partnerships Across the AU. Identify, engage, and build relationships with agencies that support our core market of direct‐to‐consumer ecommerce brands. This includes marketing, design, development, systems integrators, and other service providers that can help broaden ShipBob’s reach within the AU
- Collaborate with Local Teams at Key Technology Partners. Work closely with regional contacts at our strategic partners — including Klaviyo, Shopify Plus, Gorgias, ShipStation, and others — to drive co-marketing initiatives, partner enablement, and shared deal flow.
- Grow and Nurture Existing Partner Relationships. Maintain and deepen relationships with current partners through regular touchpoints, ongoing education, quarterly business reviews, incentive programs, revenue share conversations, and additional engagement activities.
- Drive Significant Annual Revenue Through Partnerships. Generate substantial partner-influenced and partner-sourced pipeline through co-marketing campaigns, co-selling motions, and broader business development strategies.
- Represent the Voice of AU Partners Internally. Serve as the advocate for our AU partner ecosystem across internal teams, including Product, Sales, Account Management, Marketing, and Onboarding, ensuring partner needs and feedback are clearly communicated and prioritized.
- Manage Partner Infrastructure and Operational Tracking. Oversee and maintain the systems and tools that support all AU partner activity, including:
- Partner Directory
- Salesforce partner records and related lead generation workflows
- Partner pages on ShipBob.com
- Represent ShipBob at Industry and Partner Events
- Act as a ShipBob ambassador at partner-focused events, conferences, and trade shows across your region.
- Perform Other Duties as Needed
- Take on additional responsibilities that contribute to the success of the Partnerships team and the broader organization.
- Deep Understanding of the AU Ecommerce Ecosystem
- Strong familiarity with the AU direct‐to‐consumer ecommerce landscape, including agencies, tech platforms, and service providers. You’ll bring relevant industry experience, existing relationships, and a clear understanding of how ecommerce brands operate and scale in the AU market.
- Technical Aptitude and Integration Awareness
- While you don’t need to be an engineer, you should be comfortable navigating how integrations, APIs, and ecommerce technology ecosystems work. Many of our strongest partnerships involve technical enablement, so the ability to understand integration workflows and speak confidently with technical and non‐technical stakeholders is essential.
- Proven Business Development Maturity
- You should bring experience owning and managing high‐value partnerships, negotiating agreements, structuring revenue‐driving initiatives, and influencing stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes. This role impacts a significant portion of our AU partner‐sourced and partner‐influenced revenue, so strong commercial instincts are key.
- Entrepreneurial, Self ‐ Starter Mindset
- This role offers autonomy — and expects it. You should thrive in a fast‐moving environment, build strategies from scratch, make decisions with imperfect information, and proactively identify new opportunities to grow the partnership ecosystem.
- Exceptional Communication & Attention to Detail
- You’ll interface with top‐tier partners and ShipBob leadership. Clear, precise communication — both written and verbal — is critical, along with the ability to manage details across multiple initiatives, contracts, and partner conversations.
- Willingness to Dive In and Solve Problems
- No ivory towers here. You should be comfortable rolling up your sleeves, collaborating directly with partners, merchants, and cross‐functional teams at any level to quickly diagnose challenges and drive solutions.
- Ability to Prioritize and Scale Yourself
- This role is not a traditional sales position, but it does carry revenue targets. That means focusing on high‐leverage activities, delegating or automating repeatable work, and driving results through others — not just through individual execution.
- Health and Wellness Benefits Stipend
- WFH Phone/Internet Stipend

- We recognize that people come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job. If your experience is close to what you see listed here, please still consider applying. Diversity of experience and skills combined with passion is a key to innovation and excellence; therefore, we encourage people from all backgrounds to apply to our positions.
