Role Description The Senior Operations Manager role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi, with flexibility to work from home on agreed days.
The person in this role will oversee day-to-day operational performance, including scheduling, workflow optimization, and resource allocation across teams.
They will develop and implement standard operating procedures, monitor key performance indicators, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
include coordinating cross-functional projects, managing vendor and stakeholder relationships, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.
The Senior Operations Manager will also support budgeting and cost-control efforts, prepare regular operational reports for leadership, and mentor team members to strengthen operational capabilities.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in operations management, including process improvement, resource planning, and performance monitoring.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop diverse teams.
- Proficiency in using data and analytics tools to track KPIs, generate reports, and support decision-making.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills across departments and seniority levels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and deliver results within agreed timelines.
- Experience working in hybrid or flexible work environments and coordinating distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, Lean, Six Sigma) is an advantage.
- Comfort with budgeting, cost optimization, and basic financial analysis related to operational activities.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory workplace practices.
- Fluency in English; familiarity with the regional business environment in Abu Dhabi or the broader UAE is beneficial.
