What You'll Do

• Provide second-line oversight, challenge and assurance across operational risks.
• Act as a subject matter expert providing guidance, challenge and strategic advice to senior stakeholders.
• Support and challenge first-line teams to identify, assess and manage risks effectively.
• Deliver risk reporting and analysis to senior leadership, Risk Committees and the Board.
• Improve risk frameworks, governance, reporting and risk management practices.
• Lead and develop a high-performing second-line operational risk team.

What You'll Need

• Expertise in operational risk across technology, cyber security, resilience, third-party risk and business change.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and translating complex risk matters into business insights.
• Knowledge of risk frameworks, governance, risk appetite, assurance methodologies and regulatory requirements.
• Experience enhancing risk frameworks, leading assurance and challenging first-line teams.
• Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills for Executive and Board audiences.
• Collaborative approach with experience coaching colleagues and strengthening risk culture.
