As a Senior Officer – Wealth and Investment Specialist within Customer Fulfilment, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end operational governance of the Bank’s Wealth and Investment business.

This includes equities, personal banking investment products such as mutual funds, structured products, fixed income and bonds, as well as bancassurance offerings.

The role is responsible for ensuring seamless admin terminal and product setup, effective management of transaction and trade lifecycles, daily reconciliations, exception handling, and the oversight of robust controls.

You will work closely with brokers, asset managers, and insurance partners to monitor performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and support accurate and timely reporting.

Through strong attention to detail and a proactive control mindset, this role is critical in safeguarding the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of wealth and investment operations, while maintaining a strong risk and control environment aligned with internal policies and regulatory standards.

***What You’ll Be Doing:***

  • Own the end-to-end operational governance of Wealth & Investment products including equities, mutual funds, bonds, structured products, and bancassurance.
  • Manage investment and insurance product setup and admin terminal configurations to ensure data accuracy and system integrity.
  • Oversee the complete transaction and trade lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing in line with market cut-offs and SLAs.
  • Perform and review daily reconciliations across cash, income, units/holdings, and premiums.
  • Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve exceptions and reconciliation breaks, with strong ageing and escalation controls.
  • Act as the key operations liaison with brokers, asset managers, custodians, and insurance partners, monitoring service delivery and performance.
  • Maintain a strong risk and control environment, including maker-checker controls and audit-ready documentation.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with SCA, CBUAE, and Insurance Authority requirements and internal policies.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate MIS and operational reports for management and key stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with Wealth Front Office, Product, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and IT to support smooth operations.
  • Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies to enhance accuracy and customer experience.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members, promoting ownership, teamwork, and operational excellence.

***What We’re Looking For:***

  • Minimum 5 -7years of banking experience in wealth / investment operations, brokerage operations, securities back office, retail investment products, or bancassurance within banking or financial services. Operates with minimum supervision and takes accountability for end-to-end delivery.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Advanced certifications in equities, capital markets, investments, insurance, or operational risk are preferred.
  • Knowledge on AI and Automation tools
  • **Languages:**
  • English (essential); Arabic (preferred).

  • Strong Wealth Operations Expertise – solid understanding of investment products including equities, mutual funds, structured products, fixed income, and bancassurance, along with end-to-end trade lifecycle processes.
  • Reconciliation & Control Focus – proven ability to manage cash, income, and holdings reconciliations, with strong skills in identifying, investigating, and resolving breaks within defined timelines.
  • Product & System Knowledge – experience in product setup, admin terminal configurations (fees, commissions, VAT, segmentation), and familiarity with banking and investment platforms.
  • Risk & Compliance Awareness – working knowledge of operational risk frameworks, maker-checker controls, and regulatory requirements (SCA, CBUAE, Insurance Authority).
  • Data Analysis & Reporting – strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, MIS preparation, and performance tracking to support decision-making.
  • Stakeholder & Communication Skills – ability to effectively collaborate with brokers, asset managers, insurers, and internal teams with clear and professional communication.
  • Ownership, Attention to Detail & Problem Solving – high accuracy in execution, proactive issue resolution, and a strong sense of accountability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
