Position overview
The Senior NetSuite Business Systems Analyst is the primary subject matter expert and system owner for the NetSuite ERP platform.
The hybrid role works with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Sales to configure, customize, and improve NetSuite and connect it with other systems.
The role also contributes to AI adoption and evaluates ERP automation capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage NetSuite configuration, customizations, roles, permissions, and release upgrades.
- Gather business requirements across Finance, Supply Chain, and Sales and deliver solutions.
- Develop SuiteScript 2.x customizations, including User Event, Scheduled, RESTlet, Suitelet, and Map/Reduce scripts.
- Maintain custom records, fields, forms, SuiteFlow workflows, saved searches, and reports.
- Manage integrations with Salesforce, Rippling, Arena PLM, analytics platforms, external partners, and other systems.
- Lead NetSuite implementations, enhancements, and module rollouts end to end.
- Troubleshoot system issues, data discrepancies, and performance bottlenecks.
- Train users, document processes, and support change management.
- Manage sandbox environments and coordinate biannual release testing.
- Evaluate third-party SuiteApps and integration solutions.
- Maintain MCP connections and other AI-related functions and support AI adoption across the ERP ecosystem.
Required qualifications
- At least five years of hands-on NetSuite experience in a techno-functional or equivalent hybrid role.
- Deep knowledge of NetSuite Financials, Inventory Management, Order Management, Procurement, and Revenue Recognition.
- Proficiency in SuiteScript 2.x and experience with SuiteFlow, custom records, saved searches, and report builder.
- Understanding of NetSuite’s data model and multi-subsidiary and multi-currency configurations.
- Experience with REST and SOAP (SuiteTalk) web services for integrations.
- Ability to write functional requirements, technical designs, and test plans.
- NetSuite SuiteFoundation or Administrator certification, or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of AI-powered automation tools and willingness to apply them in ERP; MCP or similar framework familiarity is a plus.
Preferred qualifications
- NetSuite ERP Consultant or SuiteCloud Developer certification.
- Salesforce–NetSuite integration experience, including Quote-to-Cash or CPQ flows.
- Familiarity with Celigo, Informatica, or comparable iPaaS platforms.
- Exposure to Arena PLM or similar product lifecycle and item master systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of Rippling or other HRIS platforms and HR data flows into ERP.
