About the Role

The role supports Firmware, Cloud, and Mobile App teams building connected hardware, software, and digital experiences.

The engineer will help design and ship mobile applications, full-stack architectures, and cross-platform products.

The work includes evolving the SharkClean app and creating a unified application ecosystem across connected devices.

What You Will Do

  • Build cross-platform React Native features for iOS and Android.
  • Collaborate with embedded, cloud, and hardware teams to deliver connected products end to end.
  • Architect systems connecting mobile applications, cloud services, and devices.
  • Write and automate tests for reliable products.
  • Investigate performance issues and optimize mobile applications for millions of devices.
  • Collaborate across the stack, from embedded firmware to cloud services.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong React Native experience for iOS and Android with TypeScript proficiency.
  • Experience with VS Code, Xcode, Android Studio, Git, Gradle, CocoaPods, and Swift Package Manager.
  • Experience working across cross-functional development teams.
  • Understanding of full-stack architecture and mobile-to-cloud integration patterns.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and enthusiasm for building connected products.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Rust, React Navigation, React Query, Protobuf APIs, or native build systems.
  • Experience with connected devices or IoT ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of BLE and Wi-Fi connectivity protocols.
  • Systems programming experience in Rust, C/C++, or a similar language.
  • Background in robotics, consumer electronics, or smart home products.
