The Senior Consultant, Application Development leads functional design and development of application systems across technologies and platforms.
The role provides technical consulting and leadership, develops business solutions, and makes technology choices when requirements may be incomplete.
Key work
- Consult with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical guidance.
- Architect, design, and implement mobile applications with React Native and TypeScript.
- Use native iOS and/or Android development to optimize performance and integrate platform-specific features.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers to deliver solutions.
- Translate user requirements into process and data requirements and guide application specifications.
Qualifications
- 7+ years designing, developing, implementing, and supporting applications, with expertise in React Native and TypeScript.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or a technical discipline.
- Native iOS and/or Android experience and Expo workflows are desirable.
- EAS Build and over-the-air update experience are nice to have.
Work arrangement
- Hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on site and the remaining days remote.
