Senior MEP Project Manager

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily MEP operations across multiple projects, contracts, or facilities.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
• Oversee project execution to ensure completion within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Manage and coordinate MEP teams, including engineers, supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project performance, resource allocation, manpower utilization, and operational KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, company policies, and HSE requirements.
• Review project schedules, progress reports, technical submissions, and operational plans.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities for MEP systems where applicable.
• Control operational costs, monitor budgets, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Support procurement activities, vendor management, and material planning to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and audits to ensure quality and compliance.
• Resolve operational challenges, technical issues, and client concerns in a timely manner.
• Lead risk assessment activities and implement mitigation measures to minimize project and operational risks.
• Prepare management reports, performance analyses, and operational forecasts.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and energy-efficiency programs.
• Recruit, mentor, train, and evaluate team members to improve technical capabilities and operational performance.
• Ensure successful project handovers and maintain strong client relationships to support business growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in MEP contracting, facilities management, or building services operations.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects, maintenance contracts, or operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection, and building services.
• Experience in budgeting, cost control, contract administration, and resource planning.
• Familiarity with local authority regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, project management software, and reporting tools.
