About the Job

The role is for a Senior MEP Engineer with expertise on mechanical systems to oversee and deliver MEP works across major building projects. The role ensures full compliance with international standards and UAE regulations, while coordinating design reviews, site execution, and contractor performance to deliver high-quality, code-compliant projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage MEP design review, site execution, and project delivery
  • Oversee HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems from design through testing and commissioning
  • Ensure full compliance with international standards and UAE/local authority regulations
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, architects, and structural teams to resolve technical issues
  • Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation
  • Monitor site progress, quality, safety, and adherence to project timelines and budgets
  • Conduct inspections, witness testing and commissioning, and ensure system performance requirements are met
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers and site teams
  • Liaise with authorities and stakeholders to obtain required approvals and certifications
  • Identify risks, propose value engineering solutions, and support project optimization

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in similar role, preferably with combine background and experience in consultancy and contracting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Professional certifications (e.g. PE, CEng, PMP) are an advantage
  • Strong communication, excellent problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities
