Job Profile – Senior MEP Engineer

(In an Independent Role)

• Oversee the complete execution of MEP services for G+12 building projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and local authority requirements.
• Manage and coordinate with design, procurement, and site execution teams to achieve timely project delivery.
• Preparation of MEP shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documents for the Consultant's approval.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to resolve design or site-related issues effectively.
• Monitor progress, conduct inspections, and supervise testing and commissioning activities.
• Ensure all installations comply with DEWA, DCD, and various Municipality regulations, specifically in Dubai, namely DDA, DM Trakhees, and DACC.
• Lead coordination meetings, interface with other engineering disciplines, and ensure proper integration of MEP systems with architectural and structural works.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and site supervisors, fostering professional growth and maintaining high performance standards.
• Qualification and Skill Sets.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• 8–10 years of MEP experience in the UAE construction sector, handling high-rise, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
• Strong technical expertise in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel – IMP
• In-depth understanding of MEP design principles, project scheduling, and cost control.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and site coordination skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors efficiently under tight schedules.
• Immediate availability is mandatory.

Preferred Added Requirements

• UAE Driving License.
• Professional credentials such as PMP, PE, or LEED Accreditation.
• Experience in value engineering and energy-efficient system design.
