Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Mechanical QA/QC Engineer role based in Dubai.
The Mechanical QA/QC Engineer will oversee mechanical quality assurance and quality control activities across MEP and high-tech facility projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and approving mechanical drawings and submittals, conducting inspections and tests on mechanical systems and equipment, and verifying proper installation and commissioning.
The role involves coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors, preparing QA/QC documentation and reports, managing non-conformance issues, and supporting continuous improvement of quality procedures.
The Mechanical QA/QC Engineer will also participate in client meetings, support handover processes, and contribute to safe and efficient site operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering knowledge with experience in MEP systems and building services.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance and Inspection skills for mechanical systems, equipment, and related infrastructure.
- Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for reviewing, interpreting, and coordinating mechanical drawings and models.
- Candidates should possess relevant Automotive or rotating equipment experience where applicable to project requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Experience as a QA/QC Engineer or Mechanical Engineer in construction, MEP, or industrial projects, ideally in data centers, cleanrooms, or complex facilities.
- Knowledge of international and local mechanical codes, standards, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO-based processes).
- Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental practices on construction and industrial sites.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced project environment.
