Senior Mechanical Estimation Engineer- UAE

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete quantity take-offs, analyses, estimates, and studies for assigned scope deliverables.
• Identify design and constructability issues and assess constructability.
• Develop more cost-efficient alternatives to proposed project scope.
• Coordinate among subcontractors, MEP design team members, architects, engineers, consultants, and the client.
• Prepare and assemble bids and proposals for various contract types.
• Identify required but unspecified scope through analysis of site conditions and contract documents.
• Work with operations staff and other estimators to capture General Conditions and Requirements in estimates.
• Prepare package comparison sheets and financial and technical submissions.

Job requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least six years of relevant experience in tendering and mechanical estimation.
• UAE contracting-field experience is mandatory.
• AutoCAD user and proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with firefighting and HVAC markets.
• Strong technical background.
