Senior Mechanical Estimation Engineer- UAE
Role Overview
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Responsible for providing complete quantity take-off, analysis, estimate, and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Identify design and constructability issues and analysis to determine constructability.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Define more cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of project.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Act as a connection between subcontractors, design team (MEP- Architects, Engineers, Consultants), and client.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Responsible for preparing and assembling bids and proposals for various contract types.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Determine required but non indicated scope through the analysis of site conditions and all contract documents (plans specifications, etc.)
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Collaborate with operations staff and other estimators to ensure that General Conditions and Requirement items are appropriately captured in the estimate.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Prepare the comparison sheets of all packages.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Prepare the financial & technical submission.

Responsibilities
- Provide complete quantity take-offs, analysis, estimates, and studies for assigned-scope deliverables.
- Identify design and constructability issues and analyze constructability; identify cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope.
- Coordinate between subcontractors, the MEP design team, architects, engineers, consultants, and the client.
- Prepare and assemble bids and proposals for different contract types.
- Determine unindicated required scope by analyzing site conditions and contract documents, including plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with operations staff and other estimators to include General Conditions and Requirement items in estimates.
- Prepare comparison sheets for all packages and financial and technical submissions.
Job requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least six years of relevant tendering and mechanical estimation experience.
- UAE contracting-field experience is mandatory.
- AutoCAD use and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with the firefighting and HVAC market.
- Strong technical background.
Reporting line
Reports to the MEP Estimation Manager.
