Senior Mechanical Engineer – Integration & Applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of robot cell and machine safeguarding standards, such as:
• EU: Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC / Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230; ISO 10218-1/-2 (industrial robot safety); ISO 13849-1 (safety-related parts of control systems)
• US: ANSI/A3 R15.06 (industrial robot safety); ANSI B11.19 (safeguarding); OSHA 29 CFR 1910.212 (machine guarding)
• Ability to read PLC control logic, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, and to discuss them with controls engineers.
• Experience with a broader range of material handling and fulfillment technologies, such as AMRs/AGVs, put walls, palletizing and depalletizing, pouch/pocket sorters, shuttle systems and other material handling systems.
• Experience integrating robotic piece-picking or other AI/vision-guided robotic systems.
• Experience with CE marking, technical files or third-party safety audits and risk assessments.
• Hands-on commissioning or site integration experience in warehouse or distribution center environments.
