Duties and responsibilities
- Supervise execution of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire-fighting systems.
- Coordinate with electrical and civil teams for MEP integration.
- Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals; prepare and submit material submittals, method statements, and RFIs.
- Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations, including DEWA and Civil Defense requirements.
- Monitor site progress and project schedule; manage subcontractors and site manpower.
- Conduct inspections and ensure quality-control standards.
- Coordinate testing and commissioning of mechanical systems; attend client and consultant meetings.
- Identify and resolve site technical issues and ensure HSE compliance within MEP works.
- Support project handover and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of UAE experience in MEP works within building construction.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.
- Familiarity with authority approvals and inspections in the UAE.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Four years of building-construction experience is preferred.
Work arrangement
- Full-time role; work location is in person.
