Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Join our mechanical design and development of our robotic platforms.
• Design structural components, chassis systems, drive systems, gearboxes, cooling systems, and water-handling components.
• Analyze loads, torque, heat, and stress for extreme firefighting environments
• Perform 3D CAD modeling and prepare manufacturing drawings.
• Work closely with electrical and software teams to integrate motors, sensors, water monitors , tracks, and control systems.
• Support prototype fabrication, testing, troubleshooting, and design improvements.
• Evaluate materials, suppliers, and fabrication techniques (welding, laser cutting, bending, machining, coating, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with safety, reliability, and performance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• **7+ years experience**
• in mechanical design of robotics, military Vehicles, heavy equipment, machinery, defense systems, or industrial vehicles.
• Excellent proficiency in inventor or

SolidWorks

• , and mechanical calculations (torque, gear ratio, load, thermal, stress).
• Experience with tracked robots, electric motors, gearboxes, or mobile robotics systems is a big advantage.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and design-for-production.
• Ability to work in fast-paced R&D and production environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and passion for innovation.
