Role overview
Join RSE's in-house design team within its Asset Management business platform.
Deliver water treatment solutions across the UK, with a focus on low-carbon solutions.
Take a key role from project scoping and detailed design through implementation.
Key duties
- Oversee mechanical design aspects of projects from inception through implementation.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications and current regulatory and industry standards.
- Lead mechanical design deliverables and coordinate checking and approval.
- Mentor junior engineers and support development of the mechanical design team.
- Prepare work-scope estimates and quotations.
- Address project health, safety, quality, and environmental matters.
- Liaise with key stakeholders and implement change control and programme requirements.
What the role requires
- Degree, HND, or HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary design team and ability to handle multiple projects consecutively.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Chartered Engineer status is preferable.
- Municipal water or wastewater design experience, design management, programme or financial management, and experience across design stages are desirable.
