Senior Mechanic – Piling And Heavy Equipment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on piling and heavy construction equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical faults.
• Repair and overhaul engines, transmissions, hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, and control systems.
• Inspect equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Carry out servicing, testing, and commissioning after repairs.
• Read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics, technical manuals, and service documentation.
• Maintain maintenance records, job reports, and spare parts documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Support field service activities and provide technical guidance to junior mechanics when required.

Equipment Experience

• Candidates must have hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of:
• Piling Rigs

• Diaphragm Wall Machines

• Cranes
• Excavators
• Compressors
• Other heavy construction and foundation equipment

Preferred Industry Experience

• Candidates with previous experience in internationally recognized piling companies will be given preference, including:
• Bauer
• Soletanche Bachy
• Keller
• Swissboring
• Other leading foundation engineering companies

Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Equipment Maintenance, Automobile Engineering, or related trade.
• Technical certifications in heavy equipment maintenance are an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
• GCC experience preferred.
• Experience in piling and foundation equipment is mandatory.

Skills & Competencies

• Advanced knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy equipment mechanics.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and hydraulic/electrical diagrams.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently under demanding site conditions.

Working Schedule
