Master data management
- Lead and improve master data processes and maintain customer, supplier, product, material, and other critical records.
- Identify automation and process-streamlining opportunities.
- Review records for compliance and coordinate required documentation.
Data quality and governance
- Monitor, cleanse, validate, and audit master data; correct discrepancies and improve data integrity.
- Develop data standards and manage updates, deactivations, and discontinuations across systems.
- Develop and enforce governance practices that address data quality, privacy, security, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot complex data issues and implement long-term solutions.
Systems and collaboration
- Lead master data integration into ERP and other enterprise systems.
- Work with IT on data models and structures that improve data accessibility.
- Coordinate with business units to understand requirements and set up new master data records.
Training and reporting
- Train and guide junior analysts and team members in master data management practices.
- Generate and present data quality reports, KPIs, and dashboards.
