Role summary
Owns production scheduling for critical and NPI products across the PMTC factory and drives on-time delivery. Partners with Engineering, Operations, and R&D to align build schedules with demand and capacity, and is accountable for driving results on quality, schedule, and cost. Serves as the site expert for MES systems and manufacturing data analytics, turning shop-floor data into decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and prioritize the production schedule for critical revenue and NPI products; manage changes, constraints, and material/capacity conflicts to protect committed ship dates.
- Act as the scheduling interface between Operations, Engineering, R&D, and Supply Chain; run cross-functional reviews and escalate risks to delivery early with recovery plans.
- Drive results on quality, schedule, and cost — track KPIs (OTD, cycle time, WIP, yield, cost variance), identify root causes, and lead corrective actions.
- Serve as MES subject-matter expert: own routings, work-order flow, configuration, user support, and system improvements; represent manufacturing in MES/ERP enhancement projects.
- Lead manufacturing data analytics — build dashboards and reports (Power BI / SQL / Excel) that give leadership visibility into schedule health, capacity, and performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements in planning, execution, and reporting; document and standardize work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experiences) in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 5+ years in production planning/scheduling or manufacturing operations, preferably in high-mix electronics or test & measurement.
- Hands-on MES expertise (e.g., Camstar/Opcenter, or Keysight's MES) and ERP/Oracle familiarity.
- Strong analytics skills — SQL, Power BI/Tableau, advanced Excel.
- Proven ability to work independently with cross-functional stakeholders and drive results; APICS/CPIM or Lean Six Sigma a plus.
- Visa Sponsorship is NOT available for this role.
