The Opportunity

Site Operations & Performance

• Lead the day-to-day operational management of the facility.
• Ensure safe, efficient and reliable operation of all site infrastructure.
• Monitor operational performance and KPI reporting.
• Implement operational best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures and standards.
• Act as a key point of contact between operational teams, contractors and senior leadership.

Technical Infrastructure Management

• Oversee the performance, maintenance and optimisation of critical infrastructure and technical equipment.
• Support infrastructure upgrades, expansion projects and capacity planning.
• Coordinate technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis activities.
• Ensure maximum equipment availability and operational uptime.
• Work closely with engineering teams to identify and resolve operational challenges.

Maintenance & Reliability

• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programmes.
• Lead maintenance planning and execution activities.
• Drive reliability initiatives to minimise downtime and maximise asset performance.
• Implement maintenance schedules and asset management processes.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify improvement opportunities.

Electrical & Engineering Oversight

• Support the management of electrical systems and site infrastructure.
• Coordinate with engineering contractors and technical service providers.
• Ensure infrastructure operates safely, efficiently and within operational standards.
• Assist with technical evaluations, upgrades and future expansion projects.

Procurement & Supply Chain Management

• Manage procurement activities relating to technical equipment, infrastructure and operational requirements.
• Evaluate and select suppliers, manufacturers and service providers.
• Maintain inventory controls and spare parts management processes.
• Ensure critical components and materials are available to support uninterrupted operations.
• Negotiate and manage vendor relationships.

Contractor & Vendor Management

• Oversee third-party contractors and service providers.
• Monitor supplier performance and service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and operational standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and industry partners.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Promote a strong health, safety and operational compliance culture.
• Ensure adherence to HSE procedures and operational policies.
• Support risk assessments, audits and site compliance requirements.
• Maintain safe working practices across all operational activities.

External Site & Supplier Engagement

• Conduct periodic visits to supplier facilities, contractors and operational sites as required.
• Evaluate operational practices and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support the assessment of new suppliers, infrastructure partners and technical solutions.

Experience Required

• 5+ years' experience in technical operations, infrastructure management or facility operations.
• Proven experience managing mission-critical or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of maintenance, reliability and operational performance management.
• Experience managing contractors, suppliers and procurement activities.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, facility infrastructure or engineering operations.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience managing budgets, operational KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
