Head, Airline Security

• ****Position Summary****
• Leads and oversees security operations across Malaysia Airlines Berhad (MAB) to ensure the protection of people, assets, facilities, and operations.
• Ensures compliance with aviation security regulations, company policies, and the Malaysia Airlines Security Programme (MASP), while driving continuous improvement in security performance, risk management, and operational effectiveness.
• Alternate to Head, Airline Security
• ****Key Accountability****
• Lead and manage security operations across MAB to ensure compliance with regulatory and company security requirements.
• Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and operational plans aligned with organisational objectives.
• Monitor security performance, identify risks, and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of MASP and other security-related programmes.
• Ensure effective security oversight across airport operations, cargo, catering, subsidiaries, and other relevant functions.
• Lead security audits, inspections, investigations, and risk assessments to strengthen security controls.
• Engage with aviation security authorities and external stakeholders on security matters.
• Review security threats, industry developments, and best practices to enhance organisational security readiness.
• Support management reporting and represent the department in security governance forums when required.
• ****Qualification****
• Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Law, Or A Related Field. Master's Degree Is An Added Advantage With 10 Years Of Experience In Aviation Security Or Related Security Management Functions.
• Certificate In Relevant Aviation Security (AVSEC) And Security Management Certifications/Training.
