Senior Manager – IT Infrastructure, Projects & Data Centre

About the Role

Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure & Technology Projects

• Lead and govern infrastructure initiatives including cloud migrations, data centre upgrades, and regional deployments
• Define project scope, budgets, timelines, and risk management frameworks
• Ensure smooth post-go-live operations and transition to support teams
• Align all initiatives with enterprise architecture and regulatory standards

Network & Security Management

• Own the design and performance of LAN, WAN, MPLS, VPN, and cloud connectivity
• Manage network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, segmentation, encryption)
• Ensure secure integration across on-prem, cloud, and third-party environments
• Drive capacity planning, availability, and incident management

Data Centre & Disaster Recovery

• Oversee primary and DR data centres (infrastructure, security, and environment controls)
• Ensure high availability, redundancy, and performance
• Lead disaster recovery planning, testing, and improvement initiatives
• Manage lifecycle, risk, and compliance frameworks

End-User Services & Helpdesk

• Manage EUC services (devices, software, patching, lifecycle)
• Ensure IT Helpdesk delivers high-quality, SLA-driven support
• Oversee access management and endpoint security
• Drive continuous service improvement and user satisfaction

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with IT policies, cybersecurity frameworks, and financial regulations
• Manage infrastructure risks, vulnerabilities, and audit findings
• Support internal and external audits with remediation plans

Vendor, Financial & Resource Management

• Manage infrastructure budgets (CapEx/OpEx, licensing, maintenance)
• Oversee vendor selection, contracts, and performance
• Drive cost optimization and procurement governance

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and develop cross-functional IT teams
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Security, and business stakeholders
• Promote a culture of operational excellence and security awareness

RequirementsEducation & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
• PMP or PRINCE2 (preferred)
• ITIL certification (preferred)
• Cloud certifications (Azure and/or AWS) – **required**

Experience

• 10–15+ years of IT experience
• 7–10+ years in infrastructure, data centres, or project delivery
• 3–5+ years in a managerial/leadership role

Skills & Expertise

• Strong experience in large-scale infrastructure and data centre projects
• Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Knowledge of DR/BCP, infrastructure modernization, and migration
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity and regulatory frameworks
• ITIL-based service management experience
• Capacity planning and performance optimization
• Excellent stakeholder and project management skills
• Fluent in **Arabic and English**
• Pay: AED28,000.00 - AED33,000.00 per month
