Senior Manager, Internal Controls & Policy

Key responsibilities

• Lead internal controls specialists developing, monitoring, and improving controls, testing systems, and policies across India operations and divisions in Asia and Europe.
• Assist with periodic accounting policy updates and communications; develop, update, and communicate policies and desktop procedures.
• Explain end-to-end testing and monitoring activities, develop action plans for control deficiencies, and support global remediation and process improvement.
• Maintain relationships with business stakeholders, compliance partners, and corporate functions.
• Support preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Guide the appropriate use of technology and digital tools in financial reporting and technical accounting research.

Candidate profile

• At least 10 years of progressive experience in internal controls or internal audit, with detailed experience in controls frameworks, testing, and remediation.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.
• Active CPA license or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of relevant accounting or financial reporting experience; public accounting and manufacturing experience are preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including explaining complex issues to stakeholders at all levels.
• US GAAP technical accounting and SEC reporting knowledge are a plus.
• Finance process improvement and large-scale global accounting or finance transformation experience are a plus.
